CORAYVAC®
is linear system ideally suited to long, narrow greenhouse structures. Each
burner recharges the heat exchanger tube with hot flue gases produced by burning
either propane or natural gas. A pump at the exhaust end of the system pulls the
hot gases through the system. By the time the gases reach the pump, nearly all
of the heat energy has been released. The pump expels the flue gas outside the
building at a temperature in the condensing range. Condensing of the gases
releases considerable usable heat.
In a CORAYVAC®
infrared heating system, the combustion and flue gases are always in a vacuum,
eliminating the escape of flue gases into the greenhouse that could harm plants.
The heat exchanger tube is covered by an aluminum reflector. The design of the
reflector concentrates the infrared waves emitted from the tube to a 90° downward
radiant pattern which allows the system to evenly distribute the infrared
energy over a floor area two times as wide as the system is high.
Installation Code and Annual Inspections:
All installations and service of ROBERTS GORDON® equipment must be performed by a contractor qualified in the installation and service of equipment sold and supplied by Roberts-Gordon LLC and conform to all requirements set forth in the ROBERTS GORDON® manuals and all applicable governmental authorities pertaining to the installation, service and operation of the equipment. To help facilitate optimum performance and safety, Roberts-Gordon LLC recommends that a qualified contractor conduct, at a minimum, annual inspections of your ROBERTS GORDON® equipment and perform service where necessary, using only replacement parts sold and supplied by Roberts-Gordon LLC.
