ROBERTS GORDON ® INFRARED GREENHOUSE HEATERS

CORAYVAC® is linear system ideally suited to long, narrow greenhouse structures. Each burner recharges the heat exchanger tube with hot flue gases produced by burning either propane or natural gas. A pump at the exhaust end of the system pulls the hot gases through the system. By the time the gases reach the pump, nearly all of the heat energy has been released. The pump expels the flue gas outside the building at a temperature in the condensing range. Condensing of the gases releases considerable usable heat.

In a CORAYVAC® radiant heating system, the combustion and flue gases are always in a vacuum, eliminating the escape of flue gases into the greenhouse that could harm plants. The heat exchanger tube is covered by an aluminum reflector. The design of the reflector concentrates the infrared waves emitted from the tube to a 90° downward radiant pattern which allows the system to evenly distribute the infrared energy over a floor area two times as wide as the system is high.
